Program Description

Day Treatment Program serves boys and girls ages 6 to 11 needing treatment for emotional, behavioral, and academic problems.  These children learn to build self-esteem and deal with relationships, and also attend school at Edgefield.  They grow to become more successful in their family setting, among peers, and in school.

Residential Treatment Program is a psychiatric residential treatment center for 12 boys and girls, ages 6 to 12.  This program is for children whose emotional and behavioral problems require more intensive therapy than the Day Treatment Program provides.  These children stay at Edgefield through the week, which allows them to learn to live cooperatively with others.  When possible, children integrate back into their family and community.
