Shelter Evaluation & Assessment has one DHS contract bed and occasionally youth are accepted into this program on special contracts. Individual Evaluation Plans are developed when youth enter the program and are reviewed on at least a quarterly basis. Youth may reside in the residential portion of the program or in therapeutic foster care, depending on their needs. Further, youth in care participate in a range of services from the in-house school, to the level system, to treatment groups during their 30-90 day stay in the program.

THERAPEUTIC FOSTER CARE
541-276-5433
REFERRALS: Cassie Miller, M.Ed.
Program Description
Therapeutic Foster Care is a transitional program for boys in residential care. Typically, youth are placed on the residential floor upon entering the program, and as they progress in treatment, they earn placement in the Therapeutic Foster Family Program, which is a less restrictive setting. Youth in this program reside in therapeutic, community-based homes with highly trained families who collaborate with our professional staff to provide treatment. Individual Service Plans are developed when youth enter the program and are reviewed on at least a quarterly basis.
