AGENCY DESCRIPTION

 

Southern Oregon Adolescent Study and Treatment Center (SOASTC) is a JCAHO accredited intensive treatment services agency.  SOASTC provides psychiatric residential assessment and treatment services for adolescents most of whom reside in a six county (Coos, Curry, Douglas, Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath) Southern Oregon region.  These services are also available statewide on a limited basis.  The Center also provides treatment foster care, independent living skills training, wraparound, school-based mental-health services, and intensive community-based treatment supports and services.  Active parent involvement, in-house school, transition, and aftercare services are central to SOASTC programs.

INTENSIVE TREATMENT SERVICES

Program Description

 

SOASTC provides intensive treatment services (ITS) in two psychiatric residential facilities in community settings.  All services are tailored to the carefully assessed needs of the child and family and are under the supervision and direction of a child psychiatrist.  Psychiatric residential and assessment and evaluation services are available at campus locations in the Grants Pass area.
