Program Description
Assessment and Evaluation/Stabilization provides
a short-term milieu focused on determining the strengths and ongoing needs of
children, with the ultimate goal of returning them to a less restrictive
ecology. While in our care, children
receive a comprehensive evaluation of medical, educational, recreational, and
psychiatric needs. A psychological
assessment is provided if the child has not had such an assessment completed
within the last six months. The program
integrates families and caregivers in all treatment processes and offers both family support groups and therapy, as well as onsite
educational services. much
needed Stabilization of children in crisis is also offered in a
secure, therapeutic setting.

Intensive Psychological Services provides
treatment 18 beds
to boys and girls who require a secure, therapeutic setting for
their safety, with the ultimate goal of returning them to a less restrictive
placement or home in the community.
Children receive a full range of intensive psychiatric and therapeutic services . Services are tailored to meet
each child and their family’s needs. including individual,
group and family therapy, special education instruction, complete medical
services and therapeutic recreation services.
The A treatment plan is designed for each child, based too focus on
strength and asset building and includes family input whenever possible. learning
A variety of therapeutic services work to de-institutionalize behaviors, help
children skill-build, and provide the opportunity for successful
community-based experiences. and asset-building, which
will improve their relationships and allow them to return to a less restrictive
community.Through the simulation of a normalized living
environment, children are able to evolve skills in preparation for retuning to
a less restrictive community home or placement.
