Upcoming Trainings

The Oregon Alliance of Children's Programs in partnership with the Oregon Child & Family Service Council and DHS are excited to bring you the Child Welfare Training Series:

Building Competencies and Confidence for
Working with Complex Children

Children in the child welfare system are struggling with more trauma and escalating behaviors. Their lives are difficult on many fronts, and their trauma-responses may be complex.

These FREE trainings will address five of the most common challenging behaviors. Trainings will include trauma lenses, understanding the cause of behaviors, strategies to de-escalate, and turn around behaviors. Trainers have been vetted for expertise, great training experience, and positive reviews.
